Week three in the MTC!
Hello friends and family!
I hope you are all doing well. I've got one week left here at the MTC! Our regular training is over and tomorrow we begin visitors center training! Then we leave next Wednesday. Because of the shift in schedule though we will have another p day this Friday so I can talk then too!
This week has been lovely. My friend Sister Bean from BYU just got here last week so it has been a blast running into her so often.
The wildfires are apparently the worst they have ever been in Utah so the air is looking even grosser than usual here. But in all honesty, I still love the view of the mountains here. It is beautiful.
The elders from our district leave tomorrow morning. We are sad to see them go but excited for them as well. Our zone has been super awesome. I included a picture of my whole zone after exercise. We play volleyball during exercise every night. Today during volleyball I got hit right in the face after this one guy just straight up spiked it! It did not feel good at all. My nose still kinda hurts but it will feel better soon I bet.
On Sunday I was called on to speak in church and it went pretty well. I talked about having faith in Jesus Christ. I really enjoyed being able to speak. I shared the following scripture in the Book of Mormon in 1 Nephi 3:7 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.
I love this scripture. It is so true. Our Heavenly Father will never give us anything that we cannot handle. He is always looking out for us and he cares about each of us individually so much.
Love you all and have a great week!
