2 months down. WHAT?!

It has been a lovely week everyone!

On Saturday I was working in the South Visitors center when an a8-year-old boy and his grandma walked up to me and we started talking. The little boy asked what the book on the table was and I said it was the Book of Mormon that talked about Jesus Christ just like the Bible and that he could take a look at it if his grandma was okay with it. (We have to be very careful about talking about the gospel with kids under 18) She said fine and he was just flipping through it all excited. Then he asked how much it was and I told him it was free! His eyes just lit up and I told him he could take it if his grandma said it was okay. She said fine and he was so excited. I was just so impressed with this little boy and his excitement about the Book of Mormon even though he had never seen it before!

Then yesterday we gave a tour to three ladies from Florida and Boston that were just delayed on their flights and chose to come to Temple Square. None of them were members. Sister Draper and I had a goal for the day to testify of the church more during our tours. By the end of it they had so many questions about our church we were not even discussing the history anymore! They asked me if women could be bishops and prophets and I said no then just bore my testimony to them of women in the church. The Spirit was so strong. Then we talked about the temple and how families can be forever. They thought it was just the most incredible thing and they said it all just made so much sense. It was amazing. I invited them to take a copy of the Book of Mormon and 2 of the 3 did. It was so amazing just talking to the three of them and get the privilege of giving them a tour yesterday. 

Then ALSO yesterday I ran into ELSA! It was so amazing seeing her. We talked and cried. She reports to the MTC today and is heading to Fresno CA! I was so exciting when I saw her I could not even say anything.
