Found Rebecca's Preach My Gospel
This week has been great!
Something really cool that happened was yesterday during Zone Conference when Sister Hussain came up to me and said "Sister Bates and I found a Preach my Gospel with your name in it in the North Visitors Center but it was from like 4 years ago so we just left it there." and I was like "That's my sister Rebecca!!!" So I found Rebecca's old copy of Peach my Gospel and added a picture of it below. It was super cool. It made me so happy to read through Rebeccas old notes on temple square from 4 years ago. Such a blessing.
This morning we got to go to the Salt Lake Temple and it was so amazing. Then we got Kneaders afterward and some nice guy bought our food. I loved getting to go to the Salt Lake Temple though. The saints in the 1800s sacrificed so much for that temple and I feel so blessed to go inside now. It is sad because so many people that come here that are not members of the church ask if they can go in and they cant. But everyone is welcome into the temple they just need to come unto Christ and follow his example and be baptized in his name!
It has been a lovely week and I cannot believe I am already halfway through my first transfer (6 weeks total). I hope everyone is doing well and I love hearing from you all.
