Funny story this week my companion and I were at the front desk in the South Visitors Center and no one was in there. But all the sudden like 50 people all speaking Russian just swarmed us all just talking so fast in Russian one was just look straight at me and I was just like uhhh I don't know Russian and she was like oh I am sorry then we talked in English for a little bit and then they all left. It was really funny. My companion and I just looked at each other afterward and were like holy cow what just happened.
Yesterday, we took this couple on a tour and they have never heard of our church before really and we took them to the Christus at the end of our tour and I bore my testimony of Jesus Christ and it was just so awesome to get to talk to them about our Savior Jesus Christ and what an important role he plays in our lives. They were so kind and touched at the end of our tour it brought such a smile to my face.
I love giving tours here in Temple Square! I meet the most incredible people from all over the world!
Also another funny story last week my companion and I went to some other sister's apartment to make muddy buddies and we were the only Americans there. The other people consisted of a South Korean, French, Swedish, Albanian, Taiwanese, and a sister from Columbia. They thought muddy buddies were insane. It was so funny. They could not believe how much butter, chocolate, and powdered sugar we were using. It was kinda a reality check for me haha. But they all loved them! I included a picture of us feasting on the muddy buddies.
Have a great week everyone. Love you all!![]() |
