Capture The Flag on Temple Square!

Hello everyone back home that I love so dearly!

I hope you are all enjoying it being November because I am! On a side note though it feels like it is still July time is flying so fast!

This has been quite the week. First off I took a wonderful tour in Beehive yesterday to this couple from Cincinnati that had never been to Salt Lake before. They were very intrigued by the gospel and asked some amazing questions. Eventually, I started talking to them about the Book of Mormon and how Brigham Young encouraged everyone boy or girl to read it so they can gain a testimony of their own and not just assume it is true because others say it too. Then I realized President Nelson is saying the exact same thing now! We really all need to continue reading the Book of Mormon because the more we read it the stronger our testimonies are of it and the more we can defend this gospel and its teachings.

So Halloween was pretty crazy. The square closed at 5pm because a lot of crazy people come out on Halloween. That meant basically our mission was closed because Temple Square is our mission (shoutout to the smallest mission in the world). So we had our mission activity that night. Our mission activity was playing capture the flag on Temple Square. It was so much fun. Imagine 200 sister missionaries from 40 different countries playing capture the flag on Temple Square. We were running through the visitor centers. And for the first time in our lives and probably the last we were allowed to run on Temple Square! Not to mention my team won which made it even better!

Lastly, on Saturday of last week, our investigator Chester from California got baptized which was so exciting! Sister Draper met him on the square this summer and we have been teaching him online since. It was really exciting for us!

Love you all and have a great week!
