New Year
Hey everybody!
This week has been great. Even though there is basically no one on the square we have still been able to find some incredible people to teach and talk to. The other day we were in the Relief Society building when one of the hosts there asked us to talk to this one guy about the church. So we went over to him and started talking with him and ended up having a one-hour discussion with him where we basically taught him the first three lessons. He is a Muslim but is interested in other faiths. It was amazing. We are excited to stay in contact with him and hear what he thinks as he reads the Book of Mormon.
Also, today we had our zone activity and went to a CHURCH BUILDING to play games as a zone. It was so much fun. I seriously had not been in a church building for 6 months so it was pretty fun for us sisters. We have our Sacrament meeting in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and Relief Society in the basement of the South Visitors Center. We played some basketball and then just goofed off in the gym.
Even though this time of the year barely anyone comes to Temple Square we have met some awesome tourists coming through on ski trips and family trips. So we have been blessed to have been able to take some great tours and teach people more about Christ's church and why this amazing historical site is here!
